You can’t carry your
materialistic
World up the ladder, and in the end,
Only you will jump, only you will
Pounce on the board, gaining energy,
Gaining speed, every part of your body
Screaming to stop, your mind twitching
Into a hopeless web of short circuits,
But your spirit moves you,
Obedience woos you.
There is time to look down,
but only
A faint answer comes back.
The answer will come all right…after you jump.
What on Earth could have gotten you
To this point? Nothing of this Earth.
The destiny of the Spirit shows you to
Take a leap, God will catch you.
You don’t have to know for sure,
You must only jump.
